What it can do
It gets the same reach in ONARA that your login has, and no more. A crew login with its own jobs only can ask about those jobs and the schedule, move a stage and add notes, and nothing else.

What it never does
An assistant that could text your customer or send an invoice from a misheard sentence would be a liability, not a help. So everything that leaves the building stays with a person.

Everything it does is on the record
Each change is written in your activity log and the job's diary as you, via Claude or via ChatGPT, so the office always knows what the chat did. The owner sees every connection on the account and can switch any of them off. You can disconnect yours at any time.
Setting it up takes two minutes
Settings, then AI assistants, shows the address to paste and the steps. In Claude: Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector, paste, Connect, sign in to ONARA, Allow. Claude works on every plan including the free one, and once set up on the website it works in the Claude app on your phone, by voice if you like. In ChatGPT it needs a paid plan with Developer mode switched on, and the steps are on the same page.
Questions, answered
Why not build your own AI into ONARA like the others?
Because ours would be worse than theirs, and we'd have to charge you for it. Claude and ChatGPT improve every month with no work from us, and most people already pay for one. Connecting ONARA to them gives you a far better assistant for nothing extra.
Can it send a quote or text a customer?
No, and that's deliberate. It drafts quotes and invoices and books work, but anything that goes to a customer or moves money is sent by a person from ONARA. It also can't mark a job done, cancel it, put it on hold, or delete anything.
Does it see everything in my account?
It sees exactly what the login that connected it can see. The owner's connection reaches the whole business. A crew login's connection reaches only the jobs that person is on. Money settings, billing and payments are never reachable from an assistant.
What does it cost?
Nothing from ONARA. It is part of ONARA Ops at $49 a month flat. The AI itself runs on your own Claude or ChatGPT plan; Claude's free plan is enough.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes with Claude: set it up once on claude.ai and the Claude app on your phone has it, including by voice. ChatGPT's connectors are on the website only for now.
Is my data used to train the AI?
ONARA sends your assistant only what it asks for in that conversation, and nothing to anyone else. How your assistant handles its own conversations is set by your Claude or ChatGPT account and its privacy settings, the same as anything else you type into it.
