Quote options
Stop quoting yes-or-no. Quote which.
One price gets a yes or a no. Two or three options get a choice, and the middle one wins more often than you'd expect.
Start freeOverseas, entire businesses are built on selling tradies 'good better best' pricing systems, because presenting options changes the conversation: the customer stops deciding whether to hire you and starts deciding how much of you to buy.
In ONARA it's one tap on the quote builder. Name your options whatever fits the job: Repair / Replace. Standard / Premium. This year / do it properly.
Part of ONARA’s pricing tools, alongside kits and the charge-out rate check.
How it works
Tap "Offer options" on any quote and you get tabs, one per option, up to three. Each option holds its own lines and shows its own total while you build. The customer's page shows the options side by side, each with its lines, total, GST breakdown and its own accept button.
- Up to three options, named by you, each with its own lines and price
- The customer picks on their page, no awkward phone upsell
- Accepting over the phone or on site with a signature records the choice too
- Deposits work per option, sized to the option they chose
Only the chosen option becomes real
The moment a customer picks, that option is the quote: converting to an invoice carries only the chosen lines, the PDF prints the chosen option by name, and your lists and totals show the real number, never the sum of every option on the page.
Build a three-option quote in about a minute
Pair options with kits: a repair kit in option one, a replacement kit in option two, the premium job in option three. Each kit drops its lines into the active option in one tap.
Questions, answered
What is good-better-best pricing?
Presenting the same job at two or three scopes and price points, side by side, and letting the customer choose. It reframes the decision from "should I hire them?" to "which one should I go with?", and customers regularly choose above the basic option when they can see what more gets them.
Does the customer see all the options?
Yes, side by side on their quote page, each with its own lines, total and accept button. Once they pick, their page shows the chosen option and the rest fall away.
What happens when they accept an option?
Their choice is recorded on the quote, the linked job moves to scheduled, and converting to an invoice carries across only the chosen option's lines. Nothing to untangle by hand.
Is this a paid add-on?
No. Quote options are part of ONARA Ops at $49 a month flat. Elsewhere this feature is gated to $79-plus plans or top tiers.
