How do I work out my hourly charge-out rate?
Add what you want to take home to your yearly business costs, allow for tax, then divide by the hours you can actually invoice in a year. ONARA's rate check does this on your Team page using your real costs and timesheet hours, and our free calculator does it on the spot if you just want the number.
Is this a flat-rate price book?
It's the useful part of one. Instead of paying $99 a month per person for someone else's task library, you build kits from your own price list: your labour, your materials, your markups. Most trades have a dozen jobs that cover most of their quoting, and that takes an afternoon to set up.
Do good-better-best quotes actually work?
The whole US trade software industry is built on them, because customers who see options choose between them instead of deciding yes or no. ONARA lets the customer pick their option on the quote page themselves, so there's no awkward upsell conversation.
