Is this invoice generator really free?

Does my information get saved or uploaded anywhere?
Nothing is uploaded. The invoice is built entirely in your browser and your business and customer details are never sent to us or to any server. Your own business details (including your ABN and any bank details you enter) are remembered on that device, in that browser, so your next invoice is quicker. Nobody else can see them, but if you're on a shared or public computer, hit 'Clear saved details' when you're finished.
Is it a valid Australian tax invoice?
It includes the fields the ATO expects on a tax invoice: your business name and ABN, the words 'Tax Invoice' when GST applies, the date, a description of what's supplied, the GST amount, and the total. Enter your prices GST-inclusive and tick 'I'm registered for GST', and it shows the GST already included and labels the document a Tax Invoice. For any sale of $1,000 or more, add your customer's name or ABN, which the ATO requires at that amount.
What should be on a tradie's invoice?
Your business name and ABN, an invoice number and date, who it's for, a clear description of the work or materials, the amount (with GST shown separately if you're registered), the total, and how to pay you. This generator prompts you for all of it.
